Abortion has   been   at   the  topic  of    many political    debates;  prolife  or  prochoice. Billboard  in  New  York ,  pertaining  to     abortion  is  sending the  wrong  message    to  society  about the  African American  Woman. The   billboard  has  an    African American  Child  on   it ;  stating  that  “The  most  dangerous   place    to  be   is  in its   mother  womb”. This  is   implying an  numerous   amount   of   negative    images  of   pregnant     African   American  woman. That  the   black   woman  is    not clean  , or fail  to   nurture their    children   in  the  womb. Or, even black  woman  abusing  drugs   while   carry  an  child in   her   womb. It  is   believed  that the  only  way the    unborn  can    be  protected   is   when   it   merges   into  the  outside  world; because  being  in the   black  mother   womb  is  being considered immoral.

No  one   should  have  the   right  to  tell  an  woman  ;  what     she     should    do    with   her    body.   Black  woman  have  the  right    to   terminate an pregnancy, just   like   any   other   race.  In  history  , black  men and women was  used  to   breed   more  black   children    for    slavery .  Some  black slave woman  back  in that    time ,would   use seaweed  and   other   earthly  substance s to  terminate an  pregnancy ;so their  children   would  not  half to  suffer  the life  of an   slave,  like   they have ..  Nowadays,   legal  abortion   are being  administered  to   terminate    unwanted   pregnancies . Lots  of   black    woman   even  in this  day  and time , still  see  oppressive    condition  ; and  still   do  not  want  to    raise   children  in this   time.   However ,  I  do  not  agree   with  abortions  being   used   as an   birth  control  method, that  is  highly  immoral ;but  it   should  be    done  ,if  it   is   an unwanted  pregnancy do  to accidental, rape and  high  risk  pregnancy. Men    should  not   have the  say  so  in   whether  an    woman    can   get   an  abortion   or  not .  It  should  be  exclusively  on the  woman; because   she  is  the    one that  half to  carry   this  baby;  she  has  the  right   to  abort the    child ; it  is   her    body. Black  woman  being  the  soul   life   support    of the  unborn .

By  the  woman  being   pregnant , it   is   still   in     element  of  matter  that     is   ascending   in  her    body;   which   gives   her  ownership   of   the  unborn  matter.  The   unborn   is  not    even  considered  an   part    of the    world   until     it  is  born;  then  name    and   social security  number  and   birth  certificate  is giving  to  the    new   born. Why isn’t  the     unborn   giving  these  three   things    before  it  comes  into  the  world. Is   it  because  the  unborn    is   not   considered  human yet, or maybe it  is   no    guarantee  that the   unborn   will   live  after   birth.  Why, is the    unborn  not   valued  as   an   human being ,until   it is born.   Why not   give    it   acknowledge   before  it emerges into  the    world ,  if  it   suppose to be  life ?   Why? Because  it   is    not   valued  as an  life,   until   it  emerges  into the world.
